President-Elect Jack Petrie presided over this social gathering of Club members in the Snug. He announced that he is on his way to Italy and Croatia, where he will visit Rotary clubs. Tom Croft led us in O Canada and Mark Bedford said grace.
Guests: Donna Blackstock was the guest of Joan Firkins, and visiting Rotarians were Pat Elias, Zanzibar Stonetown, Director/Education, and Conrad LeDrew, Harbourside, Retail Specialist. The latter made the following announcement:
Harbourside Brunch, Sept. 17 at the Interurban Campus of Camosun College, 11:30 am – 2:30 pm. Tickets are $45; only 126 will be sold, and there is a silent auction Applications will be available next week at our regular Club meeting.
