Once again the Rotary Club of Oak Bay and the Greater Victoria Eldercare Foundation have teamed up to host this important fundraising tournament and we're asking for your help to make it a sold-out success.Please consider sponsoring a hole at our annual golf tournament and/or putting together a foursome of players. Proceeds will be shared between the two organizations and will be directed to support enhanced care and comfort for elderly long term care residents and local and international Rotary projects.The Greater Victoria Eldercare Foundation/Rotary Club of Oak Bay's Sixth Annual Golf Classic will be held on Friday, August 22, 2008 at the Cordova Bay Golf Course. The tournament will begin with a shotgun start at 1:30 p.m. Golfers will have a chance at winning a wide array of prizes and dinner will be followed by a great silent auction and a chance to bid on a limited edition serigraph generously donated by world renowned artist and Rotarian Ted Harrison. Hole Sponsorship is $500.00 and includes a playing spot, deluxe buffet dinner, a hole sponsor sign, sponsor recognition at the dinner, website recognition and inclusion in our Times Colonist thank you ad. A charitable tax receipt for $350.00 will be issued in recognition of your sponsorship. Player registration is $150.00 and includes green fees, a deluxe buffet dinner and a chance to win one of several golf prizes. Golf carts are not included, but you may reserve carts for your foursome by calling the Cordova Bay Golf Club in advance.
